We had a wonderful Lambrook Book Day last Friday. The children and some of our more daring staff sported varied and interesting costumes all relating to their favourite books. Our special visitor, the writer Steve Cole, dazzled all year groups during his sessions; he was funny and extremely engaging as he sang, invented new characters and superheros, as well as inspiring children to create stories using what they could see around them in everyday life.

The library looked rather festive with ‘ book bunting’ – the children had traced their favourite books to create a fabulous display.
