Congratulations to the U13A & U11A Lacrosse Teams for winning both tournaments here at Lambrook on Wednesday afternoon. The tournament was an exciting fixture for both parents and visitors as they witnessed great skill and determination from all players.

The U13A Team played St George’s Ascot first. This proved to be a challenging game especially in the mid field, and the Lambrook Team had to work hard to regain possession of the ball under some tight defence. Lambrook carried the ball down the field with tremendous gusto and gave short sharp passes in the fan, which led to a 6-1 victory.

The girls were keen to get their second game off to a good start against St Andrew’s Pangbourne. This proved to be tight from start to finish with some incredible interceptions at key times and fantastic break away runs. Encouraged by support from the side lines, Lambrook got three goals and the game concluded with a 3-3 draw.

The girls played fantastically well throughout the tournament as a team and were crowned overall winners by the goal difference (having scored one extra goal overall). Congratulations to our goal scorers: – Mia, Varvara, Ella, Saffron and Fleur. Well done girls!
