Helmet and Water Bottle required. Children should be dressed in PE kit, tracksuits/thermal leggings, cycling gloves or mitts dependent upon the weather. Bikers CAN achieve their Bikeability Level 1 during these sessions too. Riders will be helped to develop their technique and improve their skills, which will lead to much greater confidence and ability on their bikes. Beginning with the basics of starting, braking and cornering, coaching will then progress to obstacle crossing, cross-country riding and mountain bike skills. Riders will develop at their own pace and the club will work to both enhance and deliver every rider’s potential. Sessions will be progressive and varied, and are designed around learning through fun. Games, challenges and activities will develop skills and improve performance and safety on a bike.
