For me, one of the highlights of the academic year is Common Entrance results day, and today has been no exception. It has been an absolute joy to share the good news with each and every one of our pupils, and I am delighted that they have all passed their Common Entrance exams and now go on to some of the top senior schools in the country. It has been a great privilege to watch these fabulously talented children grow and develop during their time at Lambrook.
Our Year 8 have already been impressing the wider world as they have spent this week learning about different careers, taking part in leadership activities and visiting working environments such as the Amazon Fulfilment Centre and Sky HQ. On Monday, they head off to Italy on their residential trip where they will be able to take part in many exciting team building activities and hopefully learn enough Italian to order a gelato! I know that all of these fantastic experiences will be paramount in equipping them even more for the next stage of their academic journey and indeed, life beyond.
Following their internal assessments this week, our Year 5 and 6 have both been away on their residential trips. Despite the wet weather, they have shown great resilience and character as they have embraced everything on offer – we look forward to hearing more about their adventures next week.
I am sure that you are looking forward to the exeat weekend and a chance to catch up with your children. I am extremely proud of all that they have achieved both inside and outside the classroom this week.Back to all news
