Our Sports Day this year was another fine example of true Lambrook teamwork. This stunningly beautiful day was certainly a very happy occasion with much support and encouragement for fellow team mates, records broken and ‘Personal Bests’ achieved, but most importantly everybody pulling together in a common goal in contributing to their house. Picnics looked as delicious as ever and another illustration of parents sharing in the joys of being together as a community.

It is always a privilege to have former pupils visit us at Lambrook and this Sunday, we are very much looking forward to hosting our Alumni Event for some of our Recent Leavers and their families. Our guests will be able to play or watch cricket, catch up with old friends and see how much Lambrook has changed since they have left the School. We are delighted that the relationships that we have with our families at Lambrook continue well after our pupils have left and we love to stay in touch; finding out how our pupils have made a difference in their future schools and beyond. As we look ahead to this next week and as we say goodbye to our Year 6 and Year 8 Leavers, we are grateful that the relationships that we have with our pupils and families will not end, but we hope, will continue for many years to come.

It looks like excellent weather for Lamfest tomorrow – I think the staff will be fighting, rather than avoiding being volunteers for the cold water dunking!
