There is certainly an air of celebration around Lambrook as I write this week’s piece. It has been a week of celebrating achievement, with parents’ evenings, street parties, excellent sporting performances in cricket, athletics and swimming, and the massive achievement of raising over £10,000 for TVAP and Restless Development at the Bradfield Triathlon.  Our parents are pretty impressive too, including Mr Daniel Wallace, who reached the summit of Everest a few days ago, raising thousands of pounds for worthy causes and kindly planting a Lambrook flag on top of the world too!

Our pupils also impressed at our Open Day last Saturday. Whilst our visitors were struck by our stunning grounds, amazing facilities and the vibrant atmosphere that we have at Lambrook, it was their interactions with individual pupils which struck them the most; from those who helped directing cars, escorting them from place to place, taking on tours to simply engaging during lessons, they were all fantastic ambassadors for Lambrook and I was extremely proud of them.

I am very much looking forward to continuing celebrations, with the Royal Wedding tomorrow, our Street Party lunch and, of course, the Official Royal Wedding After Party – aka, the LPTC Summer Party! I very much look forward to seeing lots of you there.
