The Friday before half term saw Lambrook’s biggest breakfast ever, as all pupils and staff from across the school were invited to share a virtual breakfast with one another.

With children, parents, grandparents and even dogs gathering around nearly 400 different devices, it was a very happy way to start the morning, and a fitting end the first half of the Lent term of Remote Learning.

You can see a video montage of some of the photos by clicking on the image below:

Mr Perry, whilst eating his very healthy breakfast of yogurt and berries, hosted the event and pupils excitedly tucked into many a special and most envied breakfast, including fruit, pancakes, waffles eggs and bacon (and even chocolate for some!) whilst scrolling through Zoom to wave at their fellow Lambrookians. With a mute option available, it was certainly a little quieter than the normal Lambrook Dining experience!

We do hope that it wont be too long before we are able to host our large scale community events once again. Until then, we are extremely grateful that the sounds of our happy children, will be filling our Dining Room in the coming weeks.

And if our Lambrook community can’t wait until then, then they are able to look forward to a virtual ‘Cookie Cook Along’ next Friday, with our Head Chef Simon and make and enjoy Lambrook’s most anticipated snack of the week at home.
