Reception Administrator (part time)

Lambrook seeks to appoint a School Administrator / Receptionist to be the first point of contact for all visitors to the School and to assist with general School Office administration.

Located on our main reception desk, working as part of the school office team, the successful candidate will ensure all visitors to Lambrook are greeted in a professional, warm manner. The key requirements for this position is to enjoy working in a busy environment with excellent communication and organisational skills. The School Office is the hub of the school where you will deal with external visitors, parents, students and staff on a daily basis, requiring the ability to be able to adapt to on the spot requests, multi-task and remain calm under pressure and work well as a team.

Estates Manager – Required for April 2026 onwards

We are seeking to appoint an appropriately skilled and experienced Estates Manager to lead on all aspects of building maintenance and grounds management.
The Estates Manager is responsible to the Headmaster for the effective management of the School’s buildings, grounds and sports facilities by ensuring optimum use of property resources and developing and implementing an effective programme of buildings and grounds maintenance. The Estates Manager leads on health and safety management, and environmental matters, across the estate, ensuring full compliance with all relevant statutory regulations and guidance, and is responsible for the day-to-day management of estates.

Lower School Learning Support Assistant (Maternity Cover)

Lambrook seeks an enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant (Maternity Cover) to join our successful Lower School team (Years 3 and 4). We are looking for a warm, proactive individual who works well within a team, communicates effectively with pupils, colleagues and parents, and has a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning. Experience in an independent school and an NVQ Level 3 qualification are desirable but not essential.

Head of Safeguarding

We are looking to appoint an outstanding and inspirational individual to join our Senior Leadership Team as Head of Safeguarding. Experience for such a role will include management of a significant department for several year groups and a strong understanding of the pressures and expectations of a school of this size. The successful candidate will be passionate about outstanding pastoral care and will have an excellent understanding of child protection and safeguarding practice. The successful candidate will share the responsibility for the welfare of all the children in the school and the oversight of our pastoral provision. Working under the direction of the Deputy Head (Pastoral) they will be the lead figure in the safeguarding and child protection provision. Their discretion and integrity will be crucial, and they will be able to lead by example, committed to maintaining the ethos of Lambrook for the staff and children.

Pre Prep Teaching Assistant

Lambrook is looking to appoint outstanding and dynamic Teaching Assistants for our successful Pre Prep Department to join our established team of teachers and teaching assistants. The successful candidates would need to be good team players and have excellent interpersonal skills with both colleagues and parents.

The successful candidates will  have a strong passion for working with children and a good understanding of an Independent school setting. Ideally have at least an NVQ 3 qualification.

Required for September 2026

Modern Foreign Language Teacher

Applications are invited from enthusiastic and committed Modern Foreign Language Teachers to teach French to highly motivated pupils. The ability to also teach Spanish would be an advantage. The successful candidate will join a flourishing department and will be required to teach pupils across the Prep School (age 8-13). Lambrook’s MFL curriculum is based upon the Common Entrance syllabus. The curriculum is varied, exciting, demanding and under constant collaborative review.

The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to be a Form Tutor in either the Middle or Upper School (age 10-13).

Lambrook offers lessons on Saturdays to pupils from Years 5-8, and the successful candidate would be expected to attend Saturday morning school. A half-day will be allocated during the week to compensate for this time.

Lambrook seeks to appoint an outstanding Pre Prep Teacher with Early Years experience. The successful candidate will be willing to make a wide contribution to the life of this busy,  exciting and successful school.
