I have had the privilege of being Headmaster at Lambrook for a number of years, and for my wife Jenny and me, it is an absolute joy to be a part of one of the leading Prep Schools in the country and to be involved in shaping the lives of the children educated here.
The Prep School years are incredibly special and our priority is that each child enjoys their every moment at school; children have one opportunity for the education that will form the basis of their lives, and at the same time one childhood – our aim is to keep a happy balance between the two.
We provide an enriching and exciting educational experience here at Lambrook, equipping and inspiring each child ready for the next stage of their educational journey and indeed, beyond. We recognise that all children are individuals and support and nurture them as they embrace the many opportunities on offer both academically inside the classroom and through our vast co-curricular provision. We encourage the children to give things a go and not be afraid to fail, and most of all, teach them that the most important characteristic for them to possess, is kindness.
We are committed to broadening educational opportunities; widening access to the school and having an outward-looking approach in all that we do. We strive to make a transformational difference to the lives of the children at Lambrook and those that we support, knowing that this will enable them to go on to make a difference in the lives of others.
The culture and community at Lambrook is truly distinctive and something that really stands out to both our current parents and visitors to the School. I would encourage you to come and see us for yourselves but in the meantime, I do hope that this website gives you a taste of Lambrook life.
