Assistant Director of Music
The Performing Arts Department at Lambrook School is an exciting, thriving and ever-expanding environment in which to work. Each week the 6 full-time and 20 peripatetic members of staff deliver over 650 individual lessons in music, dance and drama lessons to complement and enhance the standards within our 8 choirs, 11 instrumental ensembles, 21 dance classes, 4 Drama Clubs and 8 Dramatic Productions each year.
The post of Assistant Director of Music is a Full Time position and the successful applicant will support and assist the Head of Performing Arts and the Director of Music in the running of the Music Department at Lambrook, the teaching of a first-class academic curriculum and the delivery of an outstanding co-curricular provision. The Performing Arts Department at Lambrook is a large one and the precise nature of the role will be shaped according to the skills, experience and interest of the successful candidate. The role would suit either a Primary or a Secondary Music Specialist.

Middle School Teacher (Years 5 & 6)
Lambrook seeks a dynamic and engaging teacher to join our outstanding Middle School team. The successful candidate will be willing to make a wide contribution to the life of this busy and exciting learning environment.
Lambrook is a thriving, well-resourced school that embraces the latest developments in teaching. The emphasis is on enjoyment and confidence building. The sharing of best practice and resources is actively encouraged with the School. We are looking for a teacher who can teach across a range of subjects. Experience in teaching Maths and Science to Years 5 and 6 would be an advantage. The position would suit a teacher with Key Stage 2 and/or Key Stage 3 experience (in either the independent or maintained sector).
Lambrook offers lessons on Saturdays to pupils from Years 5-8, and the successful candidate would be expected to attend Saturday school. A half-day will be allocated during the week to compensate for this time.

Grounds Person
Lambrook seeks an enthusiastic, motivated Grounds Person to assist the team of grounds staff to manage the day-to-day sports provision and the general estate work covering 52 acres. Working within the team to produce and maintain the sports pitches to match quality, an understanding of the setting out and preparation necessary principally for Cricket, Football, Rugby and Golf would be useful but not a requirement. Assistance with the daily maintenance of the Astroturf is also required. There is a demanding requirement to cut grass and the maintenance of these areas through the summer months ranging from the golf greens and cricket squares with hand mowers; to ride-on machinery for the croquet lawn and play areas; to the tractor mounted powered mowers for the outfields; and so a good knowledge of machinery operation would be useful, although full training will be provided. In the winter months estate work is essential to maintain the school grounds and ditching, hedging, lopping, strimming and general estate work is carried out by the team of grounds staff. Tractor driving skills would be useful and the ability to be a team player is essential.

Pre Prep PA
Lambrook seeks to appoint an enthusiastic Term Time Personal Assistant to assist the Head of Pre Prep and teachers in this busy and thriving Department of around 175 pupils. The successful candidate will have an interest in education, and duties will include responsibility for general administration, including reception duties, school data input and organisation and co-ordination of the afterschool activity programme, as well as providing full secretarial support to the Head of Pre Prep.
