Headmaster’s Personal Assistant – Required for April 2026

Lambrook seeks to employ a full time Personal Assistant to provide high quality confidential secretarial and administrative support to the Headmaster. The successful candidate will enjoy a varied and busy role in a vitally important position, supporting the Headmaster in all aspects of work that includes managing the Headmaster’s diary of commitments, providing appropriate organisational support and ensuring high quality communication.

Gap Assistant

Lambrook is inviting applications for the position of Gap Assistant.

Gap Assistants (GA) are a part of a support team that works within the school and in the boarding houses to ensure the welfare and happiness of the children. GAs support teaching staff in the classroom, fulfil a wide range of everyday duties across the Nursery, Pre Prep and Prep School settings as well as being part of the boarding teams caring for the children in the evenings.

The post duration is from January through to December. For January to December positions, please make your application in January of the preceding year and interviews will take place during the Lent Term.

Occasionally we may have positions available to start in September, please enquire as to whether we have any opportunities for a mid year start.

Please do not apply more than one year in advance of when you are available to work, as we are unable to hold applications for more than a year ahead.

 


Art Assistant – for November 2025 onwards

Lambrook seeks to appoint a recent creative graduate seeking to gain experience. Someone who thrives in a busy, creative environment, has excellent organisational skills, a good working knowledge of IT as well as art media, materials and techniques would be ideal. Experience with sculpture, clay and kiln-fired ceramics, would be an advantage.

Closing date: Monday 27 October

Design and Technology Teacher (Maternity Cover) – for January 2026

Lambrook seeks to appoint a dynamic, highly organised and well-qualified teacher to cover for Maternity leave from January 2026. The post is open to either a specialist D&T Teacher or a talented practitioner who would like to develop their experience in this field.

Closing date: Friday 28 November.

Middle School Teacher

Lambrook seeks a dynamic and engaging Middle School teacher to teach across a range of subjects from the Key Stage 2 curriculum.  The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher. We also expect the candidate to make a wide contribution to the life of this busy, exciting, and successful school.

Librarian (part time)

Lambrook seeks an enthusiastic and dynamic Librarian to manage our Prep School Library on a part-time basis.  We are a School that values reading very highly, and the successful applicant will be committed to further developing the reading culture of the School as well as contributing to the wider life of the School.

Design and Technology Technician

Lambrook is seeking a proactive, enthusiastic, and well-organised Design & Technology Technician to support the smooth running of our vibrant and creative Design & Technology Department. This is a hands-on role that requires good practical skills, initiative, and a positive mindset to help create a safe, supportive and inspiring well-equipped learning environment for pupils.
