There are various ways to support The Lambrook Foundation:

Giving Time and Expertise

There are many ways in which you can support Lambrook. Please do get in touch if you are able to offer professional skills or contacts.

Giving Financially

All financial gifts are so gratefully received.

This year, we are aiming to raise £500,000:

  • £100 helps us to provide breakfasts for our visiting state schools at a Partnership morning.
  • £1,000 would help pay for training courses for staff from partnership schools for 1 year
  • £25,000 would pay for a minibus for our Partnership School, Hope Valley School

We would be delighted to work with you in choosing an area for a personal donation. It could be that you are interested in supporting a Bursary, supporting us as we partner with charities, or supporting us as we offer our facilities to our surrounding communities.

Tax Efficient Giving

Lambrook School Trust Ltd is a registered charity (Registered Charity Number 309098) and is therefore entitled to participate in the Government’s Gift Aid Scheme. If you make a donation from income that has been subject to UK income tax or capital gains tax, then, providing the Gift Aid Scheme conditions are met, Lambrook can reclaim from HMRC, the equivalent of the basic rate income tax paid on your donation. At this time, pay tax in the UK, Lambrook can recover £25 for every £100 that you donate. You can complete this form here.

If your employer, company or personal pension provider runs a Payroll Giving scheme, you can donate straight from your wages or pension.

The tax relief you get depends on the rate of tax you pay. To donate £1, you pay:

  • 80p if you’re a basic rate taxpayer
  • 60p if you’re a higher rate taxpayer
  • 55p if you’re an additional rate taxpayer

Leaving a Legacy

Leaving a gift in your will is one way that you can support the Lambrook community for future generations. As we are a registered charity, legacies will reduce the value of your estate for inheritance tax purposes. In the event you leave more than 10% of your estate to charity you may reduce the rate of inheritance tax to 36%. In the event you wish to leave a legacy to Lambrook we recommend you seek professional advice concerning the tax implications which will be individual to your circumstances.
