Since its foundation in 1860, Lambrook has been a school that has sought to nurture the potential of every child that has passed through its doors, giving them the feathers to fly in all that awaits them at their senior schools and the world beyond.

Over recent years, we have invested significantly in ensuring that our children receive an education that is broad, balanced, and genuinely life‑enhancing. We often talk about giving children “feathers to fly,” and we see these feathers every day – whether in the classroom, on the sports pitches, in the theatre, the music school, the art studios, the woods, or the farm, our pupils are encouraged to discover their strengths, explore their passions, and develop the confidence to take flight.

“As we look to the future, we are determined that these opportunities should not be limited only to those who can afford them. One of our key priorities in the years ahead is to widen access to Lambrook through a strengthened bursary programme. We want to open our doors to children who would thrive here — children with talent, potential, and character — but for whom a Lambrook education is currently out of reach.”

This is where we hope that past parents and long-standing friends of the school, might consider joining us in shaping the next chapter. We are delighted to be launching the 1860 Club, named for the year Lambrook was founded. The idea is simple: through regular giving we can build a sustainable fund dedicated entirely to bursaries. A fund that will allow future generations of children to benefit from the same breadth of opportunity that your own children enjoyed.

Membership of the 1860 Club is not just a donation; it is a continued relationship. As members, you will receive updates on the impact of your support, insight into school life, and invitations to gatherings each year — opportunities to reconnect with one another, to hear from staff and pupils, and to remain part of the Lambrook story.

Lambrook has always been a school that believes in possibility. With your support, we can ensure that even more children are given the feathers they need to fly.
